Michael Shields, in his own words:
"I started comedy back in 2009 when I was hired to be a bartender by an owner of this 4-star hotel. Interacting with the hotel guest that came into the hotel bar room, I would start making them laugh and feel comfortable just me being myself. Customers of the hotel would tell the hotel owner that they thought the bartender was pretty funny. So, the owner decided to start a comedy night with celebrity and touring comedians that he had in is grasp. And he wanted me to host the event with giving me my 5 minutes of fame to start these events. At that time, I didn't know anything about being funny on stage. But after meeting and learning from these professional comedians the owner brought in, I started learning the process of doing stand-up comedy. So, from there and three years of meeting and learning from these comics. It has brought me to the point in the comedy business that I am in today. Starting out as a comedy promoter, to doing stand-up comedy myself. And my rapport and love for the comedy business has grown. And I've been going strong with it ever since. Doing shows ever where I can from Military VFW shows to bar and club venues. Living the dream, I never knew I had."
